Peace and Quiet

Have you ever been completely exhaused, yet perfectly at peace.  God is so wonderful that even when it seems the world is whirrling around you, you find yourself in the eye of the storm. Do you know that it is calm in the eye. So when the storms of life are all around  you, remember God keeps us in the eye of the storm.

Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

The Power of words

I haven’t written in my blog for a while because I took some words to heart. Someone said to me why would people read your blog who cares what you have to say.  I really took that to heart and quit writting because I believed what they said.
Then God began his glorious work in my heart. I have been listening to this song Faith Hill sings called “A baby changes everything”. The power of the words to that song really speak to me on how Jesus birth changed everything for all time.  While I was thinking of those words God spoke to my heart about the power of the words that person spoke to me. Just because the masses don’t read my blogs is no reason not to blog what if one person reads these and is blessed or helped by them. God will speak to people in His time and His way and we should not allow another persons words to stop us from communicating God’s powerful words anywhere He deems fit. Am I saying God is speaking through my blogs? He could be! I just type by faith and let Him do the rest.  Please don’t make the same mistake of allowing peoples words to interfere with what God wants.  Any time we speak Gods word it makes a difference. SPEAK GOD’S WORD AND DON’T WORRY ABOUT WHAT ANYONE ELSE THINKS BECAUSE GOD IS A POWERFUL WORD !!!

1 Corinthians 2:13 (New International Version)

13This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words.

Merry Christmas to you all

and remember a baby changed everything 🙂

I am writting I know shocking isn’t it!!!

I was listening to Joel Osteen last night and he reminded me that God has already equipped us to do what we need to do and tonight proved it. As I became discouraged God brought people to help where we needed it most. I guess sometimes even as church leaders we forget we are equipped. I can’t thank God enough for proving Himself faithful to His vision. So when you think you can’t do something remember God has equipped you to do it.

🙂

2 Timothy 3:17 so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Jesus intends to do something!!!!

Something really jumped out at me Sunday at the church we attended. The pastor said “Jesus knows our situation and intends on doing something about it” I thought about that the last 2 days as things seemed to spiral downwards rapidly. I know that we have an awesome conference coming up and our prayer is the lives of our children will never be the same. The devil doesn’t want that, but Jesus intends on doing something about it.

I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name—the name you gave me—so that they may be one as we are one. John 17:11

My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. John 17:15

Love, joy, peace and power in the Holy Ghost to you all

Seeing through God’s eyes.

We are in Bethel this weekend. Most people would think “why?” would you want to go there? But when you do things with God in mind you find beauty everywhere. The people are warm and friendly. The scenery is pretty and the we have no cell phones. Oh life is good!  We see a place where God is making a difference in peoples life. From the 4th of July parade to the carnival with Gospel music and The kids paying money to play Hillsongs on Guitar Hero. Even though there are no mountains this scripture is appropriate.

How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!”

Love and blessings to  you all

Happy 4th

Oh What a day!!!!

Do you ever have a day when you want a one way ticket to somewhere else. Well Jesus gives a one way ticket straight into His presence whenever we need it. In His presence things take on a different perspective. Darkness really does turn to light.

Psalms 30:11 You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing.
You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy.

Oh and then there is the “put yourself in someone else’s shoes” because there is usually someone worse off than you and you may be able to help them. Suddenly your stuff seems a little easier to deal with. Funny how that works huh?

Luke 6:38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

Need Healing ?

I was talking to a friend a while back about healing and during communion this morning it came to me that

1 Peter 2:24b says “by His stripes we were healed.” It seems we have our healing already. So my friends stand and stand therefore until you receive your healing. Take God at His Word.

Love and blessings to you all

Teaching our kids God’s way and His Word

In my evening reading I have been reading the Psalms. In Psalm 145:4 it says “One generation will commend your works to another; they will tell of your mighty acts.” If we don’t teach our kids to praise God in every circumstance, who will? Thank God for the Psalms for it’s a great guide for thankful ways to praise God. I hope we all find time in our day to stop and praise God to our kids and tell them of his marvelous love.

Have a Praise God day

Love and peace to you all

Lessons learned

What is God’s word for?  Look at Romans 15:4 For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.”  Sounds to me like God’s word is useful today. Romans15: 5 Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus, 6 that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Paul said in Romans that the Word brings patience and comfort.  Thank God for His word. It’s a book we should read everyday!!!!!

May you be full of God best today with all His blessings!!:)

GOD IS IN CONTROL

A friend reminded me today that God works in His time frame.  We must not rush God’s process.  That’s why God’s word says “They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength and they shall mount up with wings as eagles.  Isaiah 40:31

Love and Grace to you all 🙂
